Police arrest suspect in Katsina commissioner’s murder
Katsina Police Command said it has arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of the State Commissioner of Science and Technology, Dr Rabe Nasir.
The State police commissioner, Sanusi Baba, announced this at the residence of the deceased after his corpse was evacuated to the Federal Medical Centre, Katsina.
Buba explained that the command has started investigating the incident, saying that an arrest has already been made.
Solacebase reports Rabe Nasir was assassinated at his residence located in Fatima Shema Estate in Katsina metropolis on Wednesday although his death became known on Thursday.

Rabe, a former Department of State Services officer, also worked with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja.
The late commissioner also represented Mani/Bindawa Federal constituency for four years.
He was Gov. Aminu Masari’s aide in science and technology from 2015 to 2019 before he was elevated to the status of a commissioner.
