A private health facility, Best Choice Specialist Hospital has sensitized over 500 hundred patent medicine vendors in Kano state.
The Human resource manager of the Hospital, Sadik Spikin, on Saturday, said the essence of the capacity building for the patent medicine vendors so as to improve on their attendance of customers
Spikin said its imperative to sensitize the patent medicine vendors due to their importance to the society.
He said the patent medicine vendors are very critical in ensuring qualitative health care due to their closeness to people in the community.
He noted that National Drug Law Enforcement Agency is also collaborating in the sensitization so patent medicine vendors in-order to eradicate drug abuse in the society.
In a remark , Chairman Association of patent medicine vendors Aminu Hikima said the best choice specialist Hospital has intervene at the right time noting that the sensitization is very essential.
