The National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) on Friday formally investiture Professor Musa Borodo, as its 21st President.
Prof. Musa Borodo, elected to occupy the position for the next two years was decorated at the event held on Friday at the college auditorium, Badagry expressway in Lagos.
Professor Musa Borodo is the immediate past College Vice President and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Credential & Fellowship Awards.

He has supervised more than 25 dissertations in Internal Medicine for the Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and the West African College of Physicians.
Speaking at the investiture, the Minister of State for Health Dr Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora calls for more collaboration between the college and the Federal Government.
He said the college with over 50 years of existence has produced specialists in different areas of medicine who are contributing to healthcare development both in Nigeria and abroad
The Minister urged the newly elected President, Professor Musa Borodo not only to maintain the standard of the institution in terms of research and discovery of solution to the emergence of new diseases.
In his acceptance remark, Prof. Musa Borodo, an Internal Medicine specialist promised to build on the successes of his predecessors.
‘’Two major cardinal points of my tenure would be to create greater collaboration and linkages with sister colleges within Africa and beyond such as the Royal College of Physician of England. And also to strengthen training through acquisition of clinical simulation laboratory, ‘’Prof. Borodo said.
He appreciated the support of Bayero University Kano, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano Emirate Council and his family among others.
Solacebase reports that among dignitaries at the ceremony were Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, Prof. Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, Bayero University Kano, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Muhammad Yahuza Bello, Outgoing President of the College, Prof. Lille Tariah, President West Africa College of Physicians, Prof. Abel Onunu.
Others are Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II, represented by Falakin Kano, Alhaji Mustapha Abba Abubakar, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Chief Medical Director, Prof. Abba Abdulrahman Sheshe and Director, Centre for Infectious Diseases Research, Bayero University Kano, Prof. Isa Abubakar.
