Sacked Gov. Ganduje’s aide, Salihu Tanko Yakasai speaks of life outside govt.
Sacked Special Adviser to Kano State Governor, Malam Salihu Tanko-Yakasai, says he has gained more respect and honour after leaving government than how he came.
Yakasai said he has increased in goodwill a million times more than the one he got when he was in government.
Solacebase reports that Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on February 27th sacked Malam Salihu Tanko-Yakasai, his Special Adviser on Media over criticizing the Muhammadu Buhari led administration due to increasing insecurity with the recent abduction of close to 300 Jangebe schoolgirls.

The former media aide of Ganduje was detained for 48 hours by the Department for State Service (DSS) over the post in which the secret police in a statement said the detention of Salihu Yakasai was more than the criticism of the president on tweeter.
Salihu Tanko-Yakasai, on Monday on his verified tweeter handle @dawisu said in the post that, after 5 years in government,’’ the goodwill I got after leaving Government, is a million times more than the one I got when I got in. That’s indeed an honourable exit, which is rare in Nigeria. This is certainly God’s doing & I am eternally grateful to Him for His endless Blessings.’’

However series of comments after the tweet are of various reactions from some commending him for his actions while others asked him to apologise to Sanusi LamidoSanusi Lamido Sanusi whom he attacked countless times for speaking the truth to power. Others criticized him for not telling his former boss the truth about the dollar issue?
I've come to understand that Nigerians regardless of ethnicity or religion, respects and love anyone who speaks truth to power.
