Senate President Appoints Bashir Gentile, Senior Legislative Aide
Senate President, Ahmed Lawan has appointed Bashir Hayatu Abubakar (Gentile) as Senior Legislative Aide.
The appointment according to the letter sighted by Solacebase on Thursday and signed by Mohammed Umar on behalf of the Clerk of the National Assembly said the appointment takes effect from the day of assumption of office.
The letter of appointment dated December 2, 2019, urged the appointee not to betray the confidence reposed in him.

Bashir Hayatu Abubakar, from Kano aged 54 holds a Master’s in Political Communication from City University London.
