Shaaban Sharada appoints Abbas Yushau as spokesman, gubernatorial campaign council

Kano state Governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party and a member House of representatives Municipal federal Constituency , Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada has approved the appointment of Abbas Yushau Yusuf as Spokesperson for his Gubernatorial Campaign Council.

In a statement issued to newsmen, on Sunday, the ADP Gubernatorial candidate ,Shaaban Sharada said Abbas Yushau Yusuf was appointed as the Campaign Spokesperson due to his wealth of  experience in the media industry spanning over a decade.

The governorship candidate charged the new campaign spokesman to be up to the task in ensuring a robust , healthy , and good media engagement devoid of rancor.

‘’The New ADP Gubernatorial Campaign Spokesperson Abbas Yushau Yusuf graduated from the Department of Mass communications Bayero University Kano in the year 2008 and has experience in the print ,electronic and online media,’’ the statement said.

‘’He bagged his Master’s degree from the faculty of communication,  Bayero University Kano in the year 2016 and has attended several courses and workshops.’’

According to the statement, Abbas was also a news editor with Freedom Radio ,the first indigenous private FM station in Kano and served as the Government House correspondent of the station for five years.

‘’Abbas was also the pioneer Government House correspondent of Rahama Radio Kano from 2011 to 2012.’’

‘’He was also a news producer with Vision FM and a current affairs analyst with National and international media outfits in and outside Nigeria.’’

‘’Abbas Yushau Yusuf is also versatile in Nigeria’s political and military history and has experience in teaching and community service.

He has written several articles in Nigerian national dailies since the year 2003 and is married with children.
