Shun Corruption To Shape Your Future – ICPC Admonishes Students.

The Acting Chairman of Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences commission ICPC, Mal. Musa Usman Abubakar on Wednesday urged youth to shun and fight corruption in all its ramification in order to shape their future.

Mal. Usman gave advice during the second day of its Launching and revitalization of Students Anti-corruption clubs held at DawakinTofa local government area of Kano state.

The anti-graft head represented by Mallam Jibrin Abubakar,  said that the essence of the revitalisation program for students at the grassroots is to keep them appraised on how Corruption has become an impediment to the national development, and also to keep them prepared on how to the start tackling the endemic menace right from their immediate domain of learning.

He emphasised that, youth are the leaders hoping to steer the affairs of the nation tomorrow, urging them to brace up their sleeves and stand upright, as he said fighting corruption is a serious scourge which need not to be handled with kids gloves.

In a lecture blended with pictorial graphics, the principal superintendent ICPC, Kano Mallam Usaini Tukur earnestly said the essence of the presentation accompanied with pictorial illustration is to catch the students imagination.

Mallam Tukur emphasised that the rationale is to infuse integrity and strong moral principles in students to prepare them for the challenges ahead in the course of overwhelming corruption across the nation.

In a remark, the representative of Executive Secretary of Senior Secondary Management Board, Mal. Zakariyya Balarabe appreciated the efforts of ICPC for doing all its best to educate and enlighten Students to shun corruptions and to stem the tide of its manifestation.

The Students Anti-Corruption Revitalisation by ICPC in collaboration with Youth Alive Foundation sponsored by DFID is slated to extended its tentacle to Rano, Kano South.
