Skyline University appoints Ali Nuhu as Ambassador

Skyline university Nigeria has unveiled veteran Kannywood and Nollywood star Ali Nuhu as its ambassador.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony at the university campus, on Thursday, the vice-chancellor, Mr Ajit Kumar said the decision to unveil Ali Nuhu as the brand ambassador was borne out of his passion to touch the lives of people from all disciplines and walks of life.

“We are happy to announce today that Ali Nuhu is now an ambassador under this brand and we are very optimistic that this partnership will go a long way in helping to develop the potentials of the youth population out there.”

Solacebase reports that Skyline University established in 2010, is the first private university in Kano state, which started its operations by scouting for students in Nigeria and sending them to its UAE campus for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

However, to make it easier on the overwhelming number of students who are passionate of having a global standard educational experience in Nigeria, the institution decided to open its campus in, Kano, Nigeria and providing state of the art infrastructure to make the learning experience worthwhile.

Mr Kumar explained said, “we chose Kano state because of its demographic advantage and commercial viability”.

Welcoming the brand ambassador, a 3 hundred level mass communication student, Aisha Zanna Mustapha opined that the institution is equipped with not only the best facilities for teaching and learning but also an efficient curriculum that prepares students to be ready to face the challenges of life as well as shaping their thoughts.

“Skyline is not just about academic excellence, it creates a balance between social life and academics, helping us to navigate through certain flawed thoughts and to make informed decisions that affect our lives. We are certain that, as an institution, skyline university will stop at nothing until we become the best in our chosen paths and careers.”

In his speech, shortly after signing the contract, Ali Nuhu expressed delight over the deal as it gives him a better platform to touch the lives of many people, especially the youth.

The versatile actor added that he will commit more than what is expected of him within the framework of the agreement, with a clear vision of making an impact on the lives of the students as well as the institution.

He recalls the transformation of his introverted daughter to a more opinionated and vision-driven one after being admitted to study at the institution. ”

My daughter does not talk much, either at home or at school among her peers but Skyline University has transformed her capacities to socialise and interact better with the outside world and to make better-informed decisions about her life and future.”
