Synergy panacea to our national insecurity- Tanko Yakasai

Former Secretary-General of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Anthony Sani, is correct that insecurity in Nigeria or in any other location can best be handled by a synergy among the affected people.

In order to effectively deal with that situation which has been bedeviling the affected areas synergy between the three tiers of government is the best workable solution.

In my opinion it is an initiative from the federal government in that direction will create an enabling environment that will make it possible to effectively deal with the situation on a long time basis.

Those in authority at the federal government level should immediately embark on initiating the necessary process for the realization of that objective.

Although the burden of creating an enabling conditions for achieving that objective is largely in the shoulders of the federal government, nothing stops both the affected states and local governments in the area from setting the machinery in motion towards achieving the set goals.

Synergy is what we  need in Nigeria to make progress and be in the position to achieve solutions to effectively deal with our multitudes of our developmental problems.

This is what many countries in the world did to successfully overcome their problems and it is what many nations are presently doing in dealing with their own problems. We need to borrow a leaf from these nations.

I wish to appeal to our leadership to embark upon as a strategy to tackle our nefarious problems. The sooner we take up this challenge the better for our country.
