PHOTO: Terrorists abduct driver, 18 passengers in Katsina

Suspected terrorists have abducted a driver and all the passengers in an 18-seater bus belonging to Katsina State Transport Authority (KSTA).

An eyewitness said the incident occurred on Thursday after the hoodlums intercepted an eighteen-seater bus with the registration number (14B-300-KT), loaded with passengers, belonging to the Katsina State Transport Authority.

He said the incident occurred at about 12.30 pm between Burdugau and Yar Goje Villages at Mararaba Kankara highway while coming from Funtua to Katsina.

He added that the terrorists were armed with sophisticated weapons and flocked the passengers into the bush.

Meanwhile, the state Police Command is yet to make a statement regarding the incident at the time of filing this report.
