PHOTOS: ”This crowd signifies yearning for new leadership”- Kwankwaso

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has said that the mammoth crowd that welcomed him in Kano signifies that yearning for new set of leadership in Nigeria.

SOLACEBASE reports that Kwankwaso made the declaration at the commissioning of the Kano state NNPP campaign office, on Sunday evening.

He said that NNPP is poised to winning the 2023 presidential election against the major political parties in Nigeria.

“This crowd signifies the need and urge for new leadership not only in the state, but the country at large.

“The biggest surprise will come when our party, the NNPP wins the 2023 presidential election God willing.”

Kwankwaso further said that the party has gathered enough momentum in winning elections in Kano and Nigeria, describing NNPP as the fast growing political party in Africa.

While addressing the cheering supporters, Kwankwaso said by 2023 youths will smile and be back in school.

“Those of you that are supposed to be in primary school will be back while the outstanding ones will be at foreign Universities.”

Earlier, the gathering of party supporters, candidates, businessmen and celebrities defied the scourging heat as they patiently waited for their leader, Kwankwaso, chanting their political messiah’s name.

The crowd repeatedly chanted Kwankwaso in chorus at the top of their voices as they joyfully waited for his arrival.

Meanwhile, about three kilometers away from the venue of the event along the same route, the Kano state gubernatorial candidate of the party Abba Kabir Yusuf, his running mate Aminu Abdussalam and others pulled another large crowd waiting by the road side to receive Kwankwaso.
