The former Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II has challenged electorates to identify politicians who are suitable for the offices they seek and support the right candidate rather than political parties.
Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II stated this on Wednesday night in Kaduna when SLS 2023 for President support group visited him.
Solacebase reports that the 14th Fulani Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II is in Kaduna for a week , the first visit since his dethrinement to the north since March,9th, 2020.

It is time for the young ones to step up, ‘’Sanusi said.
‘’I am an Amir of the people, not a politician, I have my friends and followers across all political parties as such I can’t be a member of any political party. I have always said that I have no interest in contesting elections and public service is not limited to elective offices.’’
Earlier Speaking, the group head of the movement for SLS 2023, Dr Suleiman Shuaibu who lead his team highlighted the achievements of the former Emir both in the private and public sector as the first northerner to emerged as Managing Director of First Bank PLC and Governor of CBN.
Dr Suleiman Shuaibu recalled how the Naira was stabilized and the Banks Contribution to Education he also, saluted the Emir’s achievement as a traditional ruler and his fearless role of standing out for his people most especially the girl child, this and many more are some of the reasons we are calling on you to contest in 2023
