The PDP Kano Governorship Candidate for 2019 Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf has assured women in the state of growing inclusive economic growth through strategic women empowerment.
Engr. Abba K. Yusuf was speaking at an interactive session with various groups of women politicians in Kano.
A statement signed by Spokesman of the PDP Governorship Candidate Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa said creating social safety for the marginalised groups such as women, orphans, people living with disability and other vulnerable groups becomes necessary for effective poverty reduction as an alternative to the present precarious situation.
“We will do everything humanly possible to restore the value of family as the first stage of socialization”

The statement added that Engr. Abba K. Yusuf reiterated his commitment to reintroduce the mass wedding programme, foreign and internal sponsorship of students with outstanding performance and entrepreneurship development for micro, small and medium enterprises.
