Yusuf Maitama Sule University denies releasing information on 2019/2020 academic session
Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano has distanced itself from a purported Academic Calendar being circulated on social media regarding the continuation of 2019/2020 Academic Session.
The management of the University has described the information as fake and misleading.
This was contained in a statement issued by Head, Information, Publications and Public Relations Unit of the university, Abdullahi Abba Hassan and sent to Solacebase.

‘’The University has not released any directive in respect of continuation of 2019/2020 academic session,’’ said the statement.
‘’In view of this, the Management of the University is urging students, parents and the general public to disregard the information.’’
‘’The Senate of the University will decide on resumption date for continuation of 2019/2020 Academic Session, which will be announced officially by the University through proper channel after reopening of tertiary institutions by the Kano State Government.’’
