Zamfara: Governor Matawalle nominates new deputy governor

The Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle has nominated Senator Muhammad Hassan Nasiha as the deputy governor of the state.

Solacebase had reported that Mahdi Aliyu Gusau was impeached from his position as deputy governor on Wednesday.

However, at the resumed plenary, the speaker of the House, Nasiru Mua’zu, read a letter from the state Governor Bello Matawalle nominating Senator Muhammad as the deputy governor of Zamfara State.

Senator Hassan is currently representing Zamfara Central Senatorial district.
