The young man who rode a bicycle through the hills and the low valleys from Kanam LGA of Plateau to the federal capital territory Mr. Armaya’u finally arrived in the late hours of Friday after over 72 hours on the road.
Armaya’u, said that his mission was to ride in celebration of Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi electoral victory and his subsequent inauguration that was why he took off from where the people voted to where the inauguration is to hold.
According to newsmen, the man arrived in good shape, hale and hearty with smiles over his face for having overcome the obstacles on the way, the hardship, the thirst and hunger, the excruciating pain of pedaling the hills and the soothing relieve of coasting down the slope.
He said what kept him going was his determination to reach his goal as every cycle of the bicycle’s pedal brought him closer to his destination.
On his arrival, he was received by one Mr. Lameer and was accommodated in a hotel in Abuja.
