Bayero University Kano has introduced new security measure as part of strategies to ensure maximum security within the university campuses.
A statement issued by the University Secretary, Information and Publication Division, Malam Lamara Garba and sent to Solacebase on Tuesday said that the management has directed that no person will be allowed entry into the university premises without proper identification.

Solacebase recalls that recently, there were reports of robbery attack at the medical students’ hostel of the institutions, although the university authority denied it describing the story as fake news
The statement said the directive is to curtail bad elements from entering the university campuses.
‘’Members of the university community are therefore requested to give maximum cooperation to security personnel in this respect, said the statement.
