Congress: Story on APC State Chairman in Kano, quoted out of context-Isma’il Ahmad

The All Progressive Congress headquarters will tomorrow Thursday inaugurate an appeal committee to evaluate reports from across the country over the states congresses conducted over the weekend.
A member of the caretaker committee of the party, Barrister Isma’il Ahmad stated this on Wednesday in an interview with Solacebase.
He said the reports of the congresses held in the states were just been received at the headquarters today , Wednesday, due to the public holiday on Tuesday.
Barrister Isma’il Ahmad said he was quoted out of context in an interview with Freedom Radio, saying the party has not recognized any chairmanship in the congress held on Saturday in the state.

‘’I never mentioned Kano in the interview at all, even thereabout , what I said was that the headquarters was still expecting the reports of the congresses,’’ said Ahmad.
According to him, the party headquarters will look at the whole reports and allow its appeal committee to attend to grievances.
