Foundation Donates Relief Materials To VVF Patients, Others

Kwandala foundation a Non-Government Organization on Wednesday under its wrap-up activities for the year 2019 tagged ‘G.I.V.E’ distributed relief materials to Fiona Lovatt Children’s home Hotoro, VVF hospital Kwalli and Leprosy hospital Yadakunya Bela in Kano state.

Speaking to newsmen during the distribution exercise President and founder of the foundation, Architect Tijjani Muhammed Musa stated that, the distribution of the materials has been an annual tradition by the foundation as part of wrap-up activities of the foundation at the end of every year aimed at assisting the less privileged and vulnerable in the society.

The President further revealed that the foundation which was initiated by a group of concerned citizens in Kano with the sole aim of raising funds, materials and technical aids to provide relief for the less privileged persons in the communities among other humanitarian activities; has done various humanitarian activities since its inception adding that the distribution of the materials is one out of many.

Similarly, speaking while receiving the items at the VVF Hospital Kwalli, Dr Musa Kalla of Fistula Foundation revealed that, the hospital has treated over 3000 VVF patients and that, the hospital is currently organising a graduation ceremony for 100 treated patients adding that Kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is expected to grace the occasion.
