Group provides educational materials for school pupils in Ibadan

The Caroline Initiative, a charity organisation dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for children, successfully concluded its March 2024 outreach with a heartwarming project benefiting school children in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

The event, held at the Ar-Riyadh Schools on March 18, exemplified the NGO’s commitment to providing equitable access to quality education for children in Nigeria.

It provided school books and pens to the students of the school.

Speaking after the event, the founder, Quadri Adejumo, a Nigerian journalist, envisioned Caroline Initiative as an organisation aimed at driving humanitarian development across Nigeria.

“Caroline Initiative is dedicated to child welfare and empowering children, whilst creating an environment where children thrive,” he said.

He emphasised that the organisation will host projects across all niches ranging from education, health, and even sports for the children. “We’re going to empower these children by providing them with opportunities through all spheres of life,” he added.

Through the Caroline Initiative, the organisation also has the Caroline Initiative Forum which is dedicated to hosting gatherings, empowering and celebrating individuals and organisations driving meaningful change. 

It recently sponsored the Freshers Debate Finals at the Lagos State University, providing the student participants with certificates to award their excellence.
