President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Professor Dantani Wushishi as the new Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the National Examinations Council NECO.
Solacebase reports that this was contained in a letter signed by Minister of Education Adamu Adamu in Abuja, on Monday.
It said the appointment of the University Don followed the death of the immediate past Registrar, Professor Godswill Obioma who died some months ago
While congratulating the new Registrar Adamu Adamu charged the new Council Boss to prove his worth by elevating the examinations body to compete among its pairs globally
It said the appointment of the new Registrar takes effect from the 12th of July, 2021.
