Kano House of Assembly on Wednesday confirmed extending invitation to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to appear before it on Friday over allegation of receiving $5m bribe in some video clips published by an online newspaper, Daily Nigeria. .
The letter dated 31st October 2018 was sighted by Solacebase and was received at the government house on the same date.

Solacebase recalled that the Publisher of the online newspaper, Jaafar Jaafar appeared before the House of Assembly ad-hoc committee investigating the bribery allegation last Thursday at a public hearing that was broadcast on major radio stations in Kano.
