Television Continental (TVC) has denied involvement of its news team in distribution of money in Edo governorship election.
Solacebase recalls that videos trending on Saturday by Nosa Obaseki accused TVC news crews of distributing money to electorates from their vehicles.
A disclaimer put up by TVC asked the public to disregard videos by Nosa Obaseki accusing TVC News correspondents covering the governorship election in Edo State of distributing money from their vehicles.
Solacebase reports that TVC described this as a malicious statement impugning the integrity and professionalism of our team who have reported the conduct of the ongoing election.
