Kano state House of Assembly on Tuesday directed a tripartite committee of Judiciary, Public petition and civil service to investigate a petition written against the state Head of Service Muhammad Awwal Na’iya of over staying in office.
The action followed a petition written by a Legal practitioner , Barrister Adam Bashir addressed to the House alleging that the Head of Service has over stayed the statutory age of retirement as he is above 60 years of age , hence he is supposed to have retire from service.
After reading the letter at plenary on Tuesday, the Speaker Kabiru Alhassan Rurum referred the case to the three committee of the House mandating them to submit their report next Monday.
Meanwhile the Speaker Kabiru Alhassan Rurum read Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s letter requesting to present the 2019 budget proposal to the House tomorrow Wednesday.
