Kano state government has reaffirmed commitment to give priority to quality education so as to eradicate the out of school children challenges in the state.
The State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo made the pledge at the distribution of instructional materials to the 44 local government councils.
Alhaji Murtala Garo represented by Kano ALGON Chairman and Chairman of Takai local government, Alhaji Mohammad Baffa Takai said initiatives employed by the state government in improving education is yielding fruit with the gradual reduction of out of school children number.
He lauded the state government with millions of naira spent in the procurement of the instructional materials which will enhance quality education in the state.
