Kano State Private Health Institutions Management Agency (PHIMA), on Wednesday sealed a private health facility, P&P Hospital, at Wailari quarters in Kumbotso LGA , of the state, due to illegal operation as the facility is not registered.
Solacebase reports that the closure of the hospital was carried out during a routine monitoring and supervision of private health facilities in the state,
A statement issued by Executive Secretary, Private Health Institutions Management Agency Dr. Usman Tijjani Aliyu, on Wednesday said that the hospital was found to be operating without registration and this contravenes the PHIMA Laws and operational guidelines respectively.

According to the statement,’’The Hospital was initially registered with the Agency at Badawa area about 5 years ago but the proprietor decided to close it down for reasons best known to him.
‘’PHIMA during its routine supervision discovered that the proprietor has re opened the facility at a different location at wailari quarters, Zaria Road and was operating for months without registration.’’
