2

Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) says it is now compulsory for staff and customers to wear facemasks before being allowed access into any KEDCO’s offices in all its franchise areas.

According to KEDCO Management, this is borne out of the need to enforce government and health authorities’ protocols for COVID-19 to protect the public within its facilities.

This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by KEDCO Head, Corporate Communications, Ibrahim Sani Shawai and sent to Solacebase.

“Our decision to make face masks wearing compulsory for all our staff and customers is to protect people from this coronavirus pandemic.

“Masks-wearing is one amongst other measures which have been in a place like the compulsory handwashing with antiseptic soap under running water, use of hand sanitizers and ensuring social distancing.’’
