Simon Lalong emergence followed the expiration of the tenure of the outgoing Chairman of the forum Kashim Shettima as Borno State Governor.
Iin a valedictory remark at the end of the forum ‘s Meeting, Kashim Shettima said the governor would take over his new position with effect on 29 May, 2019.
The new Chairman of the forum in his acceptance speech appreciated his colleagues for the gesture bestowed on him.
