NECO/NBAIS: Kano directs reopening of schools

Kano State Government has directed reopening of all public and Private Secondary Schools that are to participate in writing NECO/ NBAIS Examinations.

The state Commissioner for Education,Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi Kiru announced this in a statement issued by the ministry Public Relations Officer, Aliyu Yusuf on Thursday.

According to the statement the Commissioner therefore directed the Executive Secretary, KSSSMB and that of Science & Technical Schools Board to ensure that SS3 Students in boarding schools return on sunday, 20th September, 2020 while SS3 Students in day schools  resume on monday, 21st September, 2020.

Solacebase reports that the statement said the directive is to give sufficient time for review and biometric documentation of all candidates.

The statement added that Directors /Principals of the concerned schools are further employed to ensure full compliance with the COVID – 19 protocols by all staff and students.
