Coalition for Arewa All Progressive Congress (APC) Support Groups and Coalition for Civil Society Group have endorsed Senator Rochas Anayo Okorocha for the 2023 presidential election.
Solacebase reports that the coalition announced this on Wednesday at a one-day public lecture held in Kano
The coalition said Senator Rochas Anayo Okorocha, is a man the north can trust.
The summit that attracted thousands of Senator Rochas Anayo Okorocha’s supporters across the north acknowledged that no politician in the class of the former Imo State governor invested in the north like him.
In an address at the well attended political gathering, Alhaji Sadiq Abubakar Yusuf, National Coordinator of the group, said no politician in recent history had sacrificed all for the unity of this country like Senator Okorocha.
He said Okorocha had done so many things that most of his companions had not.

‘’Okorocha built 12 schools, out of which six are located in the north. We are not only here to endorse him but to celebrate this quintessential Arewa friends that invested in her education like no other,’’ said Yusuf.

The National Coordinator said, “It is, therefore, our sincere conviction and assessment of prominent politicians and notable personalities across Nigeria that Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha is the best man for the job of leading this country come 2023.
Alhaji Yusuf explained that “Senator Okorocha has distinguished himself in the last four decades by contributing his quota towards and political development of Nigerians, especially the oppressed in education, vocation, infrastructure and shelter.
“A two term governor of Imo state had achieved a lot and touched lives in many positive ways virtually every aspect of governance as it affected lives of Imolites.” He said.

Yusuf queried who among his compatriots has done more to Nigeria as we have seen with Okorocha.
In a paper presented at the summit, Professor Aliyu Jibia described Senator Okorocha as a pillar of Education in Nigeria, adding that the population of his schools are glaring testimony of his commitments to make Nigeria work.
Professor Jibia explained that Chief Okorocha ” has a soft spot for the north, and “we see him more as one of us than anyone from other parts of the country. “
The academic maintained that for us to recover lost ground, “Chief Okorocha is the answer for 2023 because he doesn’t discriminate against Nigerians. “
