The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kano command has arrested one, Sani Lawan Fagge for alleged fraudulent behaviour, cheating, personation and obtaining monies by false pretences.
A statement issued by ASC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi PRO Kano command on Friday said a preliminary investigation by men of the command classified the suspect as a serial fraudster whose targets are highly influential figures including top government functionaries and University Dons.
Solacebase reports that one of them is Professor Mahmoud Ibrahim Daneji of Bayero University Kano.

‘’ The suspect operates with multiple standards: as a Boss, a boy or facilitator for job scam opportunities or lands allocation from government,’’ said the statement.
It said an in-depth investigation into the matter is being conducted to uncover his cliques and accomplices after which legal action will be taken against them.
