(PHOTOS) Social Distancing Over COVID-19 Violated At Abba Kyari’s Burial In Abuja
The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, who died on Friday, April 17th, has been buried amid a violation of the social distancing order of the federal government.
Solacebase reports that the federal government as part of measures to check the spread of COVID-19 pandemic has banned public gathering, advocated social distancing and total lockdown in Lagos, Ogun states with the FCT.
Also, a public gathering must not be more than 20 persons, however, at Abba Kyari’s burial on Saturday, dozens of residents including government officials, friends and families attended.
However, due to the lockdown order in the FCT, some violators were convicted when they were arrested while jogging , exercising, road work or conducting other endeavours.
