Pro-Chancellor Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano resigns
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano Malam Sule Yahaya Hamma has resigned his appointment with immediate effect.
This resignation of his appointment was contained in a letter addressed to Secretary to Kano State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji and dated June 12, 2020.

Solacebase reports that according to the letter, Sule Yahaya Hamma said ‘’ I wish to refer to the extensive discussion I had with you over the recent matters and developments concerning the Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano. I hereby notify you that I tender my resignation as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of the university for personal reasons.’’
