The remains of the father of Freedom Radio Station Manager Kano, Malam Saidu Umar was laid to rest on Thursday at Ado Dandolo burial ground, Goron Dutse, in Dala Local Government Area of the state.
Solacebase recalled that Malam Saidu Umar died on Thursday morning after a brief illness.
According to his son and Freedom Radio Station Manager Kano, Malam Ado Saidu Warawa, said his father died at the age of 75.
The funeral prayer was observed at exactly 2.00 pm at the deceased residence around Kwanar Ganduje in Kano Municipal and led by Chairman Kano State Council of Ulama Sheik Ibrahim Khalil.
Among those at the Funeral, prayers were Chairman of Freedom Radio Group, Alhaji Ado Mohammad, the Managing Director, Alhaji Abbas Dalhatu, the station Group Assistant General Manager, Adamu Ismaila Garki, Freedom Radio Group AGM Engineering, Jemilu Ibrahim Dahiru, Jigawa Station Manager, Engr. Bashir Atuwa Gumel, former Station Manager Kano Freedom Radio, Malam Musa Mamman, Staff of the Radio station, a former permanent secretary with Kano State Government, Alhaji Garba Musa and a politician Umar Labaran Danga.
