The remains of the late leader of Tijjaniyya movement of Africa, Sheik Ishaku Rabiu arrived Kano early on Friday morning at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA).
The body was brought in a private jet belonging to one of his son AbdulSamad and received by Kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his deputy Prof. Hafiz Abubakar and pioneer EFCC Chairman, Malam Nuhu Ribadu.
Others include Commissioners ,business moguls, religious clerics and top security personnel.
Late Sheik Ishaku Rabiu is expected to be buried on Friday afternoon, at 2.30pm.
Kano state government on Wednesday night declared Friday a public holiday to honor the late Islamic Cleric.
