Rep Member Unveils Blueprint To Develop Constituency

The member representing Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam in the House of Representatives, Mr. Yusuf Gagdi, has unveiled the blueprint for the next four years and beyond.

Speaking at the event on Monday in Pankshin, Gagdi, elected on the platform of APC, assured the people of the constituency of qualitative representation.

He explained that the blueprint, which emanated from his constituents themselves, was aimed at ensuring even development in the constituency.

According to him, the blueprint covers infrastructure, education, health, water, agriculture, and human capital development, among others.

He added that the blueprint would also serve as a guide to his successors.

“During campaigns, I promised to ensure quality representation and part of it is drawing a blueprint that will guide us.

“Today, we are here to unveil this document which covers infrastructure, education, water, agriculture, health, and human capital development.

“This document emanated from the people because I believe my constituents should tell me what they want, not me sitting in Abuja and deciding for them.“This blueprint will remain valid, even when I might have finished my tenure as your representative because it is a well-researched document,” he said.

Gagdi called for prayers and support to succeed, adding that the task of meeting the needs of the constituency was a collective one.

He promised to use his office to lobby for projects that would uplift the living standard of the people, as contained in the blueprint.

Declaring the event open, Chairman of the occasion, Mr Latep Dabang, represented by Mr Joshua Madaki, described the unveiling as timely.

Dabang, who is the state APC chairman in the state, said the unveiling of the document symbolized the lawmaker’s readiness to work, adding that it would provide focus and direction that would ensure even development for the people.

“As a party, we are proud of Gagdi. We are overwhelmed by his performance and we will support him to do better,” he said.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Blueprint Committee, Nde Gobak, thanked the lawmaker for giving them the opportunity to serve the people in that capacity.

He said that the committee was made up of 75 members, drawn from the three local government areas.
