Security has been tightened as the trial of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, (IMN) leader, Ibrahim El-zakzaky commences.
Ahead of the trial today, Thursday morning, at the Kaduna State High Court, the Police has barricaded roads leading to the court.
The Shiite leader is being charged by the Kaduna State Government with alleged culpable homicide and breaching of public peace among others.
Today’s trial follows clashes by his supporters on Wednesday, with members of the police during a protest to demand his release.
