A daughter of renowned Islamic Cleric, Shiekh Ahmad Gumi, Maryam Ahmad Gumi is dead.
This was contained in a statement from the family by Tukur Mamu on Monday
It said Maryam Ahmad Gumi died in Abuja on Monday after a long battle with Sickle Cell Anemia.
The statement said that the deceased was buried according to Islamic Rights after Zuhur prayers.
According to the statement, “Her funeral prayer took place at the residence of the late Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gumi.’’
