Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has decried the increasing insecurity, emphasizing that Nigeria had never had it this bad.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections lamented the situation over the weekend in Abuja when he received members of the AtikuKawai Media Group, led by the founder, Abdulrasheed Shehu and Director General, Otunba Olusola Olufolabi.

The Wazirin Adamawa restates his commitment to make Nigeria and concerted efforts to better the lives of Nigerians.

“We have never had it worse like and it has always been my mission to make Nigeria better. I never knew what Northerner Region was because my Local Government was in charge of scholarship till I got to tertiary institution, ‘’Atiku said.

Atiku Abubakar reinforced the importance of the Media, especially the New media. “You can’t have everyone in a place during electioneering campaigns. You can have a campaign at a spot and expect the media to get to over 100m people.”

He commended the group for their sacrifices and effort in redefining what Nigerian Politics used to be. “You have shown that young people can change things. You have come up with Strategies like this with no condition attached. You asked for nothing and you have done all things all by yourself and will still do more.”

He assured the group of his listening ears. “I will have you from time to time. I will ask you what you want and what we need to do.” You are the future and we have to pay attention.”
