Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities SSANU has empowered its members with motorcycles to ease their transportation difficulties at Bayero University Kano.
Acting Chairman of SSANU BUK Branch, Comrade Mustapha Aminu said it was part of the commitment to ensure welfare of the union to ease their transportation challenges.
He urged the benefitting members who collected the motorcycles to install modern security devices to avoid being stolen especially now that the theft of motorcycles has become rampant.

He said the 60 motorcycle distributed to the members at the cost of N270,000 was the first batch and they are expected to complete the payment in 18 months.
“The Motobi cycle is a brand new and will be payable in 18 months, ” the Chairman added.
He said only N15, 000 would be deducted from the salary of staff who collected the motorcycle him to vacate office to prevent interference in his arraignment and trial.
