Insecurity: Ganduje orders closure of 5 health institutions in Kano
The Kano State Government has directed the closure of some Health training institutions in the state with immediate effect due to security challenges.
The institutions according to a statement by the Ministry of Health, Public Relations Officer, Hadiza Mustapha Namadi, on Saturday include the School of Health Technology Bebeji, School of Nursing Madobi, Schools of Midwifery Gwarzo, Gezawa and Dambatta.
Solacebase reports that in the last 24 hours, Kano State Government ordered the immediate closure of 12 secondary schools and 4 tertiary institutions in the outskirts of the state over increasing insecurity.

It said the state commissioner for Health, Dr Aminu Ibraim Tsanyawa noted that adequate arrangements have been made for the students to continue with their academic activities.
The statement added that parents and guardians are advised to pick their children from their respective schools tomorrow morning.
